STEP 1: Download the Eero App for iOS or Android
You can download the app Here for Android devices and Here for iOS devices.
STEP 2: Create an Eero Account or Log In with Your Amazon Account
To start setting up your new eero network, you’ll first need to log in. You can either log in with your Amazon account or create a new eero account. You’ll need to provide your phone number and email address. By default, a verification code will be sent to your phone number. Enter this code on the app’s verification screen to complete the account setup.
STEP 3: Set Up Your Eero Gateway
The Gateway eero is the primary device that establishes your network. The eero app will guide you through setting up your Gateway eero in three easy steps:
- Begin by unplugging your old modem and router from power. If you have other wireless devices connected to your modem, unplug them as well.
- Connect the Gateway eero to your modem using the provided Ethernet cable. You can use either of the Ethernet ports on the back of the eero.
- Plug the Gateway eero into an available power outlet and reconnect your modem to power. The status light on your eero will begin flashing white.
